LISA TORRE, CT Licensed Massage Therapist (Lic.# 001369), owner of NHTM, has instructed at the CT Center for Massage Therapy and has been licensed since 1996. She has experience working with a wide range of clients, from children to seniors. Lisa utilizes advanced techniques to address various conditions and integrates Neuromuscular Therapy and Myofascial Release. She has additional training in utilizing myofascial techniques to relieve head and neck pain. Lisa has a BS in Chemistry and experience in product development and marketing. Lisa is temporarily off the schedule.

WENDY RAPUANO, CT Licensed Massage Therapist (Lic.# 001558) since 1997, received advanced training in relieving sciatic nerve pain and special techniques including Neuromuscular Therapy and Myofascial Release. With her certification in Myofascial Release and Medical Massage, she helps loosen connective tissue which can ease or eliminate chronic pain and increase ranges of motion. Wendy also offers Foot Reflexology either integrated into a session or provided separately. Wendy has evening appointments Mon, Wed. & Thurs. 4:30pm-evening and every other Sat. 8am-1pm.

DANIELLE McNEMAR , CT Licensed Massage Therapist (Lic# #001994) since 1998, is a graduate of the Blue Cliff School of Therapeutic Massage in New Orleans. She integrates several techniques providing a range of pressure from light to deep bodywork. Danielle integrates all techniques, particularly the Myofascial Release techniques which help loosen connective tissue, reduce pain and increase movement. She is available for appointments Wed. 12noon-5pm.

CYNTHIA FOLEY, CT Licensed Massage Therapist (Lic# 002862) since 2001, is a graduate of The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. She applies many different techniques, particularly Myofascial Release & Deep Tissue, to address the clients concerns and preferences. She enjoys the challenge of working with clients who need specific attention to relieve chronic and acute pain. Cindy RECENTLY added herself to Mon, Wed. and some Friday daytime hours. She also offers appointments Tues. & Thurs. evenings.

FREDERIQUE POWELL, in addition to a massage career, is a French artist from Paris. Frederique, CT Licensed Massage Therapist (Lic# 003070) since 2002, is Certified in Myofascial Release and is Certified in Medical Massage for Chronic Pain. Myofascial Release helps re-balance the body by releasing tension in the connective tissue (fascia) using long, muscle-smoothing techniques. Frederique can integrate energy work, Reiki and acupressure, to touch the mind as well as the body. Frederique offers appointments Mon., Tues. & Fri. 9am-5pm, Wed & Thurs. 9am-1pm, and Saturdays 9am-3pm.

ANN AMROSE, Licensed Massage Therapist (#004419) since 2006 after graduating from The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. With a BS in Therapeutic Recreation and years of experience in the fields of chiropractic and dentistry, her expertise ranges in working with pediatrics to seniors, adapting to their specific needs on a mental, emotional and physical realm. Ann had advanced her studies with specialized training in Neuromuscular Techniques, Craniosacral Therapy, and Mastery Level Reiki. Her medical background combined with bodywork experience allow her to best serve the client. She is also Certified in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. Ann offers appointments during the week, daytime Mon., Wed.,Thurs. & Fridays, and Sat's 9am-3pm.

LINDA JOHNSON has been a CT Licensed Massage Therapist (Lic# 001693) since 1997 & is a graduate of the CT Center for Massage Therapy. She is Certified in Myofascial Release and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, and has taken advanced classes in Warm Stone massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Reiki. She offers Deep Tissue, Athletic, Pregnancy, Swedish, Reiki and warm stone massage. Linda enjoys relieving client's chronic pain through a combination of deep specific work, stretching the muscle fibers as well as gentle pressure for those more sensitive. She has worked with triathletes using athletic massage as well as assisted stretching to increase flexibility which increases performance. She also offers body polishes and wraps with experience from a local destination spa. Linda offers appointments Sat's 9am-4:00pm.

DANIELLE PERROTTO, CT licensed massage therapist (#003381) since 2003, a graduate of the CT Center for Massage Therapy and Certified Esthetician since 2006, a graduate of Brio Academy. She has taken advanced classes in low back pain, warm stones & aromatherapy. She offers deep tissue, athletic, pregnancy, swedish, & off-site chair massage. As an Esthetician, Danielle offers facials, peels and microdermabrasion. Danielle P offers massage and facial appointments on some Fridays 9am-1pm and occassional evenings.

BRIANNA PAPA, Certified Esthetician since 2009 graduating Salon DiCapelli. Brianna is very skilled in skin care and integrates aromatherapy into all her sessions. She is trained in Powederm Microdermabrasion and offers face and neck applications of this effective treatment. She continues to offer new, creative, and effective services for skin care. She offers facials or wraps on Saturdays 10am-3pm, and Tues.-Fridays during the day. Ask about evening appointments. Brianna will also be one of our Licensed Massage Therapists January 2012.
