Beverly
T. Chevalier is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years experience working youth & families.
Beverly’s clinical work focuses on, but is not limited to, trauma, anxiety, behavioral management, and life transitions.
Beverly has extensive experience working
with individuals from diverse populations in multiple practice environments,
including in-patient, residential, out-patient, and Extended Day Treatment.
Her experience includes individual therapy with youth, trauma-focused group therapy
with youth, and youth and family therapy. She has also done group work with adults living with mental health problems and individual work with adults dealing with acute stress associated
with medical conditions. Additionally, Beverly has an extensive history of volunteer
and advocacy work with youth- and family-focused community organizations.
Beverly received her B.A.
in Social Sciences (concentrations in Psychology and Sociology) at Albertus
Magnus College in New Haven, CT in 2005. She received
her Masters in Social Work from Springfield College School of Social Work in Springfield, MA in 2009.
